HAPPY THANKSGIVING, EVERYBODY!

HAPPY THANKSGIVING, EVERYBODY! I hope you are all among friends and family for the holiday. Eat lots of turkey (or tofu, as the case may be), or perhaps even some TURDUCKEN... although I steer clear of any food that starts with the word "TURD". (Wonder if they make TOFURDUCKEN?) Or perhaps you are adventurous enough to DEEP FRY old Tom Turkey. Whatever... enjoy! Afterwards, take a nap and rest up for the beginning of the holiday shopping season. Tomorrow is Black Friday and some of the major retailers are having huge specials. We will be hiding in the stores and avoiding the Angry Shoppers™. C'mon in and see us!

I was thinking this morning of all the things I'm thankful for and among all the most obvious, family and friends, what kept popping into my mind was all of you, the loyal Comix Connection customers. Thanks for your loyalty and friendship, and of course for spending your hard earned cash at our store. Now off to the buffet, not just turkey for me this year...seafood..yum...
Turkey and Ham for us. And the nice big stash of comics I picked up yesterday. Happy Thanksgiving.
I am thankful for:
-My family and friends (you know who you are...)
-My Mom,who never threw any of my stuff away...
-Being an American-Land of the Free Comic Book Day...
and many of other things....
But, most of all, I thank God,Stan Lee did not create the DC Universe...
Everyone have a great/peaceful day and see ya at the store...thanks,Ken
Man, I wish there was a shellfish-related holiday... like "National Pig Out On Shrimp Day" or something. *sigh* Guess I'll just have to settle for my Mother-In-Law's OYSTER STUFFING! YUM!
I'll echo Ned and also say THANK YOU ALL! for nearly 18 years of Comical Funnybook Goodness!
Oh yeah, and I agree with Ken about the Stan Lee/DC thing too! Heh heh heh.
Just to clarify, I AM thankful for Stan's work in the MARVEL universe...
Happy Holiday Comic Book fellas!
Just so you know, I choked on my refreshing peach snapple when I read Ken's line about Stan Lee and the DC Universe. Muy, muy funny - mainly because it seemingly came out of nowhere! He is correct though; judging by those books from a few years ago, DC would have gone the way of Clear Pepsi had he been involved.
Enjoy your turkey, ham, and seafood!
