I just read this on the ICV2 website...

Warren Ellis Reboots the 'New Universe'

One month prior to the launching of Ellis' Newuniversal series, Marvel will present "Untold Tales of the New Universe," a series of individual New Universe titles that will follow the original continuity. Mark Pannicia is editing the "event" which will include five one-shots: DP7, NightMask, StarBrand, Justice and Psi-Force, while 3 other original New Universe properties, Merc, Kickers Inc. and Spitfire will appear in 8-page back-up stories.

I wonder what pages of original art for New Univers titles go for?

HA! I still remember riding my bike with my friend Marc over to the nearest Handy Market to pick up the first issues of the original New Universe titles. We had to get them! We had to get in on the ground floor of this brand new comic universe. After all, Jim Shooter told us in Bullpen Bulletins that it was going to be awesome!!

There is NO WAY even the worst of the 2099 books is worse than Doom's IV. Do you remember that Liefeld classic? I was tricked into buying it because I read somewhere that Steven Spielsberg had licensed the Doom's IV movie rights.... Totally absurd in retrospect, but I fell for it hook line and sinker....
