Mike Oeming store appearance photos!

Here you go... some nice pictures of the Mike Oeming signing at the Mechanicsburg store! (I'll post some from the York store as soon as I get the film developed.)

The announcement on the reader board! Oooh, I see all Kinkade stuff is on sale at 40% off!

Here's an action shot of the terrible frenzy that is a Mike Oeming store appearance!

Here we see a true consummate polymath in action as Mike Oeming MULTITASKS! I think that was The Boss on the phone, and I think you other married guys know who I mean...

Mike Hawthorne displays an incredibly cool cover for his upcoming book... he said I'd have to kill him to get the original artwork from him, so I'm sharpening my Deadly Ninja Assassin Skills...

Left to Right: Manager Ken, some guy -er- I mean Mike Hawthorne, Bill, and some guy -uh- I mean the lovely and talented Miss New Jersey 1998, MIKE OEMING!

Oeming. POWERS. Wotta talent!

Fanboy extraordinaire Brian L., scores some ultra-cool Mike Oeming artwork - a page from POWERS!

Good lord! Get that freak away from Mr. Oeming!

And for you completists, here's the lost cover art from that famous "White Album" issue #11...

Seriously, THANK YOU Mike (and Mike) for the good times and the good company! I think I speak for us all here at Comix Connection when I say that that had to be one of the best store appearances we've ever hosted! Not only are you a great talent, but you are a heck of a gentleman and a terrifically funny guy! Please come back any time you want, we'd love to have you! We miss you already!

Nice pix!! That was a great time - thanks for Mr. Oeming for making the trek out and to you guys for going out of your way to host it.

Mike was great to talk to, very friendly, and really went of his way to sign stuff and draw sketches. It really was a cool event and I hope you are able to do more in the future.

Thanks again guys!!

Trust me, you will see more events down the road... guests like Mike (and Mike) really make things fun! I just find it fascinating to watch artists at work, since I have no artistic talent of my own.

Let's see who else will come to our neck of the woods...
