Thanks, Mike... that was a blast!

Boy, THAT was over way too quick! Mike Avon Oeming, besides being a great comic artist (and writer), is one heckuva nice guy! Mike graciously autographed stuff and sketched cool artwork for anyone who asked, like yours truly, the big comic geek. Check this out:

Issue #11 of POWERS had this "White Album" cover, which makes it completely perfect for sketches!

Mike Oeming was accompanied by Mike Hawthorne, so I got this "MIKE JAM '06" sketch featuring both of their principal characters...

But to me, the coolest thing I got was this sketch by Mike Oeming of Clint Eastwood as "The Man With No Name", inspired by Mike's ringtone on his cell phone...

Rock. On. Thanks, man. It was great to have you visit, it was fun to yak with you, and it was VERY cool to watch you sketch! It always amazes me how effortless you guys make it look! Thanks from all of us for visiting... that was just plain cool!

I will post photos as they are made available!

Hey, you guys that bought original art from Mile Oeming! If you scan them, I will put them up on the website for all to see!

Sounds like a cool deal! I have to find someone with a scanner though....

Any chance the store would treat me to one out of petty cash?

What is this wondrous "petty cash" of which you speak?
