Bad a$$ blast from the past. Moon Knight scored big with me. Reminds me of those stories from the old "Rampaging Hulk" Magazines when Moon Knight was the back up story. Good Stuff. All Star Superman - Great, and Ex Machina.

I just read LOVELESS, Brian Azzarello's tale of the post-Civil War South... and this is one of the best issues yet, because it features art by one of my favorite artists: Danijel Zezelj! Check out his website HERE! I've seen his work in magazines like HARPER'S and others... I am a HUUUUGE fan of heavy inks and the play of light and shadows that you can only get with bold inking. His art isn't for everbody, but I rank him right up there with favorites Marcello Frusin and Alex Toth. Great stuff!
I picked up the new Superman issue this week. I haven't read that book in years, but I figured the 1 Year After storyline might be a good point to jump on. Anyway, the first two parts of the story were fantastic (love Clark Kent running around in a letterman's jacket and a porkpie hat), but this one kind of left me flat. Maybe it's because of what he did with the ring Green Lantern gave him...
son of m was lots of fun....quicksilver is really crazy...and so is his daughter luna...try it out if you like the inhumans...
I picked up:
Archie #565
Battle for Bludhaven #1
B.P.R.D Universal Machine #1
Captain Atom: Armageddon #7
Firestorm #24
Nightwing #119
Noble Causes #19
Superman #651
I have not read anything yet. Hell I haven't finished last weeks stash yet. I am hoping to catch up this week.
Anyone else get the Friday the 13th or Nightmare on Elm Street stuff? Or am I the only slasher geek? I love the Art on both BUT BEWARE Not for the Kids!!! Has some T&A. Read Battle of BludHaven...I was Kinda Confussed about the Hero's and Villans in it I take it they are all New. It was ok. The Art Kinda had an old school feel to it. And also read F N Spider Man it was good. I'm likeing the Iron Spider suit more and more! Next issue....Return of The HobGoblin.....and....Uncle Ben??????

craig box13 - AVATAR COMICS (the publisher of the Friday the 13th and Nightmare on Elm stuff) drives me completely nuts.
My complaints:
1)They have up to seven different cover variants for each issue which completely confuses my ordering.
2) They are sometimes as late as 5 months behind their shipping schedule.
3) They sometimes have R-Rated ADS FOR THEIR OTHER COMICS in comics that aren't R-Rated.
4) They seem to publish every scrap of paper that Alan Moore or Warren Ellis ever doodled on whether it deserves publication or not.
I would truly love to see the Friday the 13th and Nightmare on Elm Street mythos continued in comics form... maybe I'll give them another try, but AVATAR's policies make it difficult for this reader to enjoy their comics...
Yeah I know there shiping and Variants Suck. Ellis is doing a new book for them right. Wolfskin? What did Moore do? LOL still waiting for Texas Chainsae one to come out.
