THAT is totally crazy! I love the Cos though....
I'm suddenly craving a puddin' cup.
BWAH HAH HAH HAH HAH!
Although I wonder, why no fifty-foot chicken heart?
HA! I thought I was the only one who remembered that routine! Every time I hear one of those THUMP-THUMP-THUMP car steroes, I think of the Giant Chicken Heart... My dad had 8-tracks (don't ask) of Bill Cosby's routines from the early 1970s... I still remember most of them.
Oh, and Flip Wilson's The Devil Made Me Buy This Dress...
Too funny.
HA!
Don't get me started on what Bebop means...you remember how "Oomper-Oomper" ended.
I'll stop there.
Didn't Cosby do a really funny bit on that same record about a homemade go-cart race and Fat Albert?
I used checked that record (and I mean a VINYL record) out of the library and I LOVED it. So much, that I recorded it to a CASSETTE. Anybody remember those?
Dad also had a record album called something like "GOLDEN THROAT: BILL COSBY SINGS", in which, you guessed it, Bill Cosby SANG. Blues and Jazz standards like "I Got A Woman", etc. I remember particularly enjoying "I Got My Mojo Workin'" at age 11...
So to speak.
HAAAAHAA!!
