I was never really into Superman (besides the All-Star version), but I liked Brian Singer's X-Men movies, so I'll have to check this out...

Man, I know... I had tears in my eyes when I finally saw the first SPIDER-MAN movie... it was just like I imagined web-swinging would be like and I finally got to see it. I'm getting that "gitchy" feeling (BONE reference) about Supes. I want to see a man fly, just like I imagine it would be like...

Oooh, I just read over at megosteve's blog that there's a whole bunch of new stuff at the Superman Movie website...

MAN! I love the look of this movie. Take a gander at those photos on the site. The costumes, the sets, it's "retro" but not really. Just classic. They're doing a great job of making it look timeless. As if the film doesn't really reside in any one era. So cool.

I just wish his cape was a brighter red.

But I'll probably be able to overlook that...

It's always wise to try to make movies appear "timeless"... who among us doesn't cringe at Prince's songs in the first BATMAN movie? (Of course, I pretty much cringe at the whole movie, but there you go.)

I cringe at Superman's big red underpants.

But I still think the movie might be good...
