Spotlight on: TALENT #1

Here's a book that might be slipping below everyone's radar: TALENT #1 from Boom! Studios. Written by Christopher Golden and Tom Sniegoski, and drawn by rising star Paul Azaceta, this book's story starts with the crash of an airliner... with one passenger impossibly surviving. Is is a miracle? Or is it something else? A lot of people want to know, including the lone survivor himself. And then there's his newfound ability of having the skills of his fellow passengers, including a professional boxer, as if he has somehow absorbed their talents. Oh yeah, and someone is trying to have him killed!
Intriguing to say the least, fascinating in it's implications... I'll be waiting for issue #2...

Ha, I just read this today, before I read the blog! Weird! This was an interesting read and I'm hooked into the series. The art is different but works well with the story. Y'all should check it out!
Wait. Didn't they do this in a movie?
Unbreakable, anyone?
stymieresh - Uh, well, there's more to it than "wreck a train to see if an indestructable person survives"... the guy can also do stuff he never could do before such as fold origami swans like the lady in the seat beside him, etc. It'll be interesting to see if he can tap the "special talents" of all the other airplane passengers to help get him out of jams. And of course I'm wondering who's trying to kill him! And why?
I bet there was a criminal mastermind on board. Mark my words.
i haven't read it but i think g-evan is on to something...hes terrorizing himself...duh duh duh
