A quick review of SUPERMAN RETURNS

Uber-collector Steve Leach dragged me out of my lair last night to see the advance showing of SUPERMAN RETURNS... and boy, am I glad he did!
It was completely awesome.
Whatever you do, don't miss seeing this one in the theatre! This movie made me realize how much I really, really like the character. Just go see it. I believe a man can fly...
(But don't sit in front of the only guy in the entire theatre with a hacking cough. And his two gabby friends. What's wrong with people? A theatre isn't your living room, you know. Sheesh.)

I posted a small review of this on MegoSteve's site, so I'll keep this one brief.
This movie was AWESOME! Everyone needs to see it. NOW!
Bill, I'm glad I'm not the only one who feels that theatre manners are LOST. People sit and talk on their cell phones, talk LOUDLY to whoever happens to be sitting next to them and worse. Drives me freakin' crazy. I'd love for a theatre to open with a bouncer (perhaps someone like the Hulk?) to enforce rules so people shut up and sit down.
Just my opinion...
I agree with Bill and stymeiresh. People have completely lost their manners in LOTS of things.
We should start a petition for bouncers in movie theaters... it might work. Get them away from the seedy club crowds...
I loved the movie (Was that 2 1/2 hours?? I was ready for more...) Co-worker Joe and I saw the movie in Gettysburg @ The Village Outlet Theaters and I would like to thank them for their great hospitality.
One thing...did anyone else find this Lois to be as overly attractive as Margot Kidder was unattractive?
I saw the movie today at Gettysburg @ The Village Outlet Theaters. It was everything a Superman movie should be. I loved it, my wife loved it, my son and daughter loved it. Go see it NOW!
i hope this is a freedom of speech page and you all don't beat me up...but i thought it stunk...lex and jimmy were the only things i liked about it...
The only time I delete a comment is if someone is abusive, someone uses profanity, or someone says something like "I dare you to leave this post up.", so you're only half way there.
I thought it was pretty good. I kind of felt that the characters weren't fleshed out enough...but I guess you have to see the old films first to get the whole story.
Other than that...(and a few other quibbles...)3/3.5 out of 5.
Kevin Spacey was great, though.
