I'm Not Following the Logic Here...
OK, this has been bugging me for a while now. I was looking through PREVIEWS last month when I ran across a listing for these hats:

Here, let me show you a close-up:

And:

So, now you can buy PRE-STAINED AND FAUX-DIRTIED CLOTHING? "Chemical wash..." for "dirty worn effect"? Was I asleep when the crazies took over? I realize I'm becoming (am?) an old fuddy-duddy, but what is the thinking behind this and what the heck is wrong with you, buyer of fake beat-up clothing? I try NOT to walk around in stained clothing. (At least for now, anyway.)
I know, I've got it! I need to find one of these guys in MY SIZE! Then I will give him all my stained and torn clothing and he will give me new clothing! Any takers?
Yeesh.
(Oh, and it's FRAYED, not FRAID.)

those hats are ugly...but i understand when people wear vintage stuff and punk rock gear that ripped and torn...maybe saying "i don't give a fork." Sometimes in my personal taste there is a line to be drawn even when it comes to the amount of wear on the clothing and the type of clothing the wear is on...know what i mean? or does that just sound crazy?
Hey, I'm with you on that... I have my favorite pair of old jeans (and a couple of favorites that I can't fit into any more), but FAKED AGE AND WEAR AND TEAR? That makes no sense to me. Go ahead and wear something a lot so it gets... REAL WEAR AND TEAR on it.
dang right
It's a sure sign that a trend is dead when it's been applied to hats for geeks!
Plus, these are just really badly done and uuuuugly. I can handle the aged stuff I've seen that looks NATURAL, but these hats just look craptastic.
BTW - when I say "geeks" I'm including myself in that number!
Bring me your stuff. For two bucks an item, I will "age" them for you.
You're welcome.
Even my boxers?
Actually, forget I said that. I DO NOT want to know what the "aging process" would be on a pair of boxes. EWWWWWWWW.
