Bill's Fan Fascination #692
You know, I was disappointed by only ONE THING at this year's Baltimore Comic-Con... I didn't find a SINGLE comic book with an electric fan on the cover! This is the first time this has happened... I fear that fan covers are the hot new thing to collect, and I will never be able to afford them again. *sigh*
Anyway, here's one from my collection:

FUNNY STUFF #38 (DC Comics, October 1948), which features this excellent electric fan/hot dog gag... funny stuff indeed! Notice how the Frog is nonchalantly plugging in the fan to steal the hotdog from the Dodo... what a smooth operator.
Sell me your electric-fan-cover comics!

Hey Bill!
Not to use this forum to conduct business, but...
Could you put All-Star Superman on my list? Ya know, box 44? Man, that is without a doubt one of the coolest comics I've read in years. So much fun, and of course, Quitely's art is wonderful. I love the crazy "future" science, I suppose the book is set just a few years in the future. Of course, maybe that doesn't really matter. The way they put Doomsday in there as Jimmy Olsen! Priceless.
Also, could ya cancel Loveless? I've tried, Lord knows I've tried, but I just can't keep spending dough on that book. ESPECIALLY when I've discovered ALL-STAR SUPERMAN!
Bill you are such a "fan"boy!
I am a fan of the fans.
Say, yer grandma don't have any old fans in her attic do she?
stymieresh - Gotcha! One ALL STAR SUPES, stop holding the LOVELESS!
You know, I gathered up all the issues of LOVELESS to re-read after our last discussion about it, but the pile just languishes on my nightstand... maybe I'll give them a try Real Soon... or not...
the last TWo issues of LOVELESS, when taken with the whole, have been the most cohesive yet...it's gettin' better!
