This is great news... after a long hiatus, creator Steve Rude is once again returning to his co-creation NEXUS, along with writer Mike Baron! Behold:

Rude Dude Productions to release Nexus, then the Moth in four-issue series to ship monthly beginning in July. Rude Dude Productions to release Nexus Special for Free Comic Book Day.
Pheonix, AZ – -- Steve Rude announced today the formation of Rude Dude Productions, LLC. Rude Dude will publish Nexus and the Moth. The ground-breaking, award-winning Nexus first appeared on Capital Comics in 1981. The story of a cosmic avenger driven by dreams of mass murder captured the imagination of the comic-reading public throughout the eighties. Dark Horse recently released hard-bound volumes of the first twenty-four issues in their prestigious “Archives” editions. Mike Baron will script, Steve Rude will draw and Gary Martin will ink.
Baron described the new Nexus as “the most intense thing I have ever written” and promises far-ranging repercussions for Horatio Hellpop and his world. Nexus has garnered numerous industry awards including three Eisners.

This is great news! Nexus was one of my all time favorites. I think the four issues a year is a great idea. The combination of Nexus and the Moth will be a great addition to my collection.
Yeah, I think I'll dig out my old issues and reread NEXUS... what a great book.
