The Weekend Comics Chat open Thread - The Never Underestimate the Power of CAT Edition

Hey there! So what's on the reading agenda this week?

In addition to a bunch of other comics, I read IRON MAN #14, into which Marvel crams more CIVIL WAR tie-in plot elements than you can shake a stick at. What a great book, and pretty important if you're keeping up with CIVIL WAR...

What's on your plate?

Ultimate Spiderman continues to be a great read. After 103 issues and it still is better than the regular Spider books. New Avengers, The Justice Society of America, and Illuminati all were great as well. The quality in the books for the last year or two has been fantastic. Makes me think the bottom is going to fall out soon.

Ultimate Spider-Man #103. Wow. Wow. That was one of the best issues in the Clone Saga yet. Ultimate X-Men was good, although I don't like the mid-arc artist change and I was a little surprised at how graphic it was. (Rogue got her arm blown off.) New Avengers was great, an interesting story. It offered very little closure on the Scarlet Witch topic, but it was still great. Wolverine was okay, a bit long for the story, but it was good. It wasn't really a "Christmas story" par se, so that element was missing a bit. New Avengers: Illuminati was very good, although I'm not a huge fan of the lettering font they used. She-Hulk was a good story, the usual fun entertainment, and I'm anticipating the next story greatly.
