Toots Vs. Pee-wee Face-off

I recently got this email and photo from our old pal Charlie Roberts of his wife Joan "Toots" Roberts and a friend...

Chollie sez: "Photos were taken last Friday Feb. 15 at the "Hollywood Collector's Show" in Burbank."

Those Californians have all the fun! Too bad she isn't wearing a swell COMIX CONNECTION T-shirt. And now I want to watch Pee-Wee's Playhouse. And live in California where it's warm. And eat shrimp with Charlie and Joanie. *sigh*

I would absolutely LOVE to meet Paul Ruebens. I think he got hosed with that whole "scandal" that went down years ago.

Funny how Eddie Murphy was caught with a transvestite prostitute years ago but he's now up for an oscar and been doing kid friendly movies. Meanwhile, Pee Wee seems to STILL be unforgiven...

BTW, is "embiggen" a word?

PS: today's password for blogger was BZAKE. Sounds like the comic book sound effect an EZ Bake oven would make... Just close the door and -BZAKE- cookies for all!

Yes. Embiggen is a perfectly cromulent word.

Absolutely. It's a common usage word from the rare Kwyjibo dialect.

Heh.
