Travel Day


14 1/2 hours one way.
2610 miles round trip.
The black ribbon of I-95 carried us to Florida and back. Thanks Ike! (A good defense is a good road network.)

I've got you beat with my 36 hour drive from Arizona to Alabama. I only rested for a two hour nap in Memphis.

Glad yer back! We just got back tonight after a mere 900 mile round trip jaunt to Cape Cod (and yes, the first thing I did after e-mail was Comix Connection website!) Saw many (well, five) lighthouses, including the shortest in the US and the second oldest in New England. Ate many clams. Busted a toe on the Rocky New England Coast (I swear that wave was slingin' brick-sized rocks that day) and generally had a fine (and cheap) time with family. Good to be back. Will check with the girls for more elongated pennies for Leni!!
