Today's top news -> CAPTAIN AMERICA RETURNS! But who is this guy?

Many of you have sent me links to this, so I figured I better post it to free up some space in my IN-box.

Behold:

Hmmmm... Cool Alex Ross art, great costume and... WHAT THE HECK IS THAT? A GUN? And a KNIFE? Who is this guy?

(Though I guess Captain America IS a soldier after all, so a gun isn't that far-fetched. But a dagger?)

Click HERE at ICV2, HERE at the Marvel website and HERE at Comic News I for articles about the latest development in the history of a favorite long-running character... CAPTAIN AMERICA!

(Oh, and thanks by the way to all of you who sent this... keep those tips coming!)

I'm definitely thinking it may be Bucky.

I saw this thing on IGN comics comparing the two and one thing it mentioned is how the gun/shield is switched with how bucky usually carries everything. but i don't know.

I really wish they didn't show this stuff so early. You always think it's going to happen in the next issue and you think of all these connections and then it turns out the whole thing isn't coming for a few months. It's kind of a letdown.

Oh, by the way, I was reading my comics last night and I picked up the Initiative. Man, I love the new artist on the book. Is that just me, though? It looks like it's screen shots of an animated movie. It's really fantastic.
