20 Questions with a Comix Connection Counter Monkey

Do any of you remember a month and a half ago there was a post here on our site gathering ideas for a series of questions that would then be set to each of the members of our elite staff here at Comix Connection? Well, this it the first post in this series today. So because no one demanded it, here's our first entry in the "Know Your Counter Monkeys 20 Question Survey"! And because chivalry is not entirely dead, let's allow ladies first and present answers from Nicky.

The combination of art and writing; the best of both of the best things ever! With both prose and visuals, you can get the best story possible.

19) Earliest memory of Comix Connection?
"What do you mean there's a store nearby that sells these? Why didn't anyone tell me this before? Curse my un-girlie ignorance of the local malls!" ...Or words to that effect.

Umm...beware the CLAW? According to Bill, at any rate... ;)

... and writing and drawing them, too (says the dad of a someday-famous artist and author!)

Nicky happens to be our foremost expert on all things Star Wars and Lord of the Rings related... but her FREAKY CLAW HAND WRITING STYLE gives me the HEEBEE-JEEBIES! It's unnatural!

what superpower would you have if you could pick, nicole? just curious?

Nicky is a sweetheart- just seems like a very caring person- unlike the other derlicts behind the register there :)))))))))

I agree Bill- I have seen her do that weird handwriting style and i almost ran away in fear!!! She is without in league with Sauron and Mordor :))))))) I think she told me Gollum taught her how to write like that- as well as how to eat raw, wriggling fish.

Gasp! How did you know? Gollum promised me he would never tell anyone! That lying little wretch...I must go destroy him with my CLAWhand now, excuse me...

Right, so, now that that's taken care of, my superpower: I'm sort of torn. Maybe Jean's, although Magneto is really tempting...if my ring could develop Green Lantern-ish powers, that would be nice, too, although that wouldn't really be MY superpower so much as the abilities of a piece of jewelry I possess, would it? I think I'll go with the TK/TP, that seems to be the most versatile, providing it's on the Jean (not Phoenix, just her own stuff) Grey-level, and not the limited sort like Betsy, Xavier, or Emma possess.

...although there's definitely a part of me that's seriously tempted by Pyro's/Johnny Storm's. The not-so-sweetheart part of me, I suppose, Chris, that likes the idea of lighting things on fire with my mind. ;)
