Little Nemo TV/Movie? Pilot.

From the year of my birth, 1984, comes a TV/Movie? pilot for Winsor McCay’s classic comic, Little Nemo in Slumberland, by Yoshifumi KondÃ. Beautifully done. Wish I could see more of this!

I think I read somewhere else a while back that this was a "test reel" or whatever they call it for a film right? Who's the extra character flying the plane? I don't remember him from the strips I'm familiar with?

i never saw that character either...its as though Nemo has an usher to take him to his slumberland?

I thought the scenes crashing through the waves were done really well...really visually appealing.
