This is the last fun outdoor event of the year! It's all downhill from here! Soon we'll all be shoveling snow and you'll be wishing you had stopped by on a fine fall afternoon in October to Comix Connection and had a burger or hotdog with a bunch of cool comic book creators! Trust me on this one!

In case you didn't know, comic creators MIKE HAWTHORNE, BRIAN KEENE, PAUL AZACETA and MIKE OEMING) will be hanging out and chatting with fans while showcasing their work and FLIPPING BURGERS and GRILLING DOGS! Stop by for a nice lunch cooked by some of the coolest guys in the comic book business! Food is free, but if you'd like to make a charitable donation, please do so! All donations will go to the HEROES INITIATIVE in memory of Mike Weiringo!

That's THIS COMING SUNDAY OCTOBER 26th, starting at NOON at Comix Connection-Mechanicsburg!

Get a jump on the upcoming Halloween Sale, as ALL BACK ISSUES IN THE BINS ARE A PALTRY ONE DOLLAR EACH, plus ALL 2/99¢ COMICS ARE 20¢ EACH, from NOON until 5PM on Sunday in the Mechanicsburg store only!

Well, since I am alas in Georgia and cannot thus come to the store for Halloween, let me share my brilliant costume idea for all those who are lucky enough to be in PA this month: SKRULLS! What better time than now to "embrace change" by painting yourselves green and drawing skrully lines on your chins with eyebrow pencil?
(Bonus points for wearing a ComixConnection T-shirt while you do it!)

Or coming in your true form and just telling everyone that it's face paint... ;)
