I went through my closet last night and pulled my Comix Connection T- Perhaps I will wear it ALL weekend in honor of the big 20.

This trip down memory lane has me thinking you guys should go as retro as possible- I want to hear songs from 1988 ONLY blasting on the store radio you know, great hits like "she's only 17" the great hairbands like Winger, Ratt, etc- whaddya say Bill?? :)))
I am really looking forward to Friday. Today in the gym, while doing my run, I was formulating my purchase strategy- think I got it worked out.
I also did a web search for moments in history. Here is what I found as notable events on Feb. 15th- the USS Maine was blown up and the Teddy Bear was invented. Here is the link:

So how did everybody make out?? I scored the following items:
1.) Haloclix Warthog vehicle
2.) Two Haloclix packs- one VERY VERY rare and valuable figure in one of the packs.
3.) MARVEL BATTLESTAR GALACTICA ISSUES 1 AND 2!!! HOW SWEET IS THAT!!!! This isn't the crappy new Sci Fi channel stuff- this is the old Lorne Green stuff!!
How good did everyone else do?? I got a couple other fan magazines in the $1 bin too.
Great sale, great day, great store!!
Oh yeah- plus Bill gave me some Peanut Chews candys (after I paid of course :))
