"G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra"

Not incredibly action-packed or compelling, but here's the GI JOE movie trailer that aired during the Superbowl:

Hat tip to Chris Yother for the link! Thanks!

MAN PLEASE!! I have been waiting 27 years for this flippin movie to come out!! :)) Not sure how you can say a movie with Ray Park as Snake Eyes ISN'T going to be action packed.

From all the fan sites I have been to and am part of, there are a lot of haters on this movie. I am just thrilled to death it is coming out. Not sure what is going on but it looks like there won't be a Cobra Commander but perhaps Destro will be leading COBRA??? Not sure but if that is the case, major letdown.

August can't come soon enough!! :))

BTW- Bill- I am assuming you caught the Star Trek preview during the SB?? It looks really cool as well.

This posts secret code- WHAMIN- Sounds like a new GI Joe code name :))

I knew if I poked you that you would come out fists a'flyin'... that's why I said "heh"! A GI JOE movie could be NOTHING BUT an action movie right?

Believe it or not, I did not watch the SuperBowl. There was a very critical HURLING MATCH on at the same time. HURLING is the only REAL sport there is.

Ha!! I had a feeling you were up to no good!!

Hey amoorefan3- if you are interested (or anyone else reading this blog)- there is going to be a new GI Joe cartoon released this year- I have heard March but not too sure on whether or not that will come true- it's called GI Joe Resolute- do a search on Youtube and a bunch of my Joe fanboy buddy's captured the preview at JoeCon 2008- it looks pretty good- some of the animation looks a bit like Heavy Metal 2000- the movie.

Cheers- C
