when i read this, all i can say is, "get out of town! Geez! Leave room for other writers!" Alan Moore is too damn good. His very existence is a firm barrier in comics writing, with all wannabe peers trying to hurdle it, while being struck down by anomalous analogies!

It's raining in Washington tonight.
Plump, warm summer rain that covers the sidewalk with leopard spots.
Downtown elderly ladies carry their houseplants out to set them on the fire-escapes, as if they were infirm relatives or boy kings.
I like that.
