Quimby the Mouse!

I am a complete and utter fan of the work of illustrator/cartoonist Chris Ware. His ACME NOVELTY LIBRARY comics are at once surreal, funny, disturbing and depressing. (I still get choked up when I read the story with the boy being abandoned at the Columbia Exposition.) Ware's work appears in many different formats, from small digests to what look like 1960s hardcover elementary school textbooks to giant newspaper-sized booklets, driving the meticulous collector crazy. His stuff is just plain brilliant, touching on emotions that few comic creators do. It's not all fun. Anyway, here's a new format for Ware's work... behold a Quimby the Mouse video:

I found this awesome video HERE and HERE'S more on Chris Ware.

I knew the moment that music started it was Andrew Bird! Any idea what the name of that song is?

The song is Andrew Bird's "Bowl of Fire: Eugnene". Here's a link to the lyrics. Great stuff.
