Sunny Florida
This has nothing to do with comics (big shock there I know), but I thought you might enjoy these pictures that my Pop sent me from several weeks ago of five straight days of rain with 16 inches in a three-day period around Holly Hill which is just south of the Daytona International Speedway:

(My sister Karen and Cathy were trapped at Mom and Dad's place for the entire week of their vacation. The built puzzles and looked out the windows a lot. They also saw gar swimming down the street.)
Let's hope it clears up in time for my vacation in August!

WOW!! Looks a lot like our farm did a few weeks back when Noah floated by, along with a culvert and my donkey. Water can be very scary. Hope your folks made it through ok.
Thanks for sharing.

The worst thing is that all the wild critters like snakes and such seek the higher, dry ground like your garage. Floods make things interesting.
Someone had said that part of the stands at the July 4th NASCAR race were closed due to flood damage, explaining away a lot of empty seats. I thought it was typical France Family nonsense, but on further review...
Mmmmmmmmm. Gar.
Stir-Fried Gar
6 pounds gar meat, cut in 3-inch pieces
1 large onion, chopped
1 tablespoon catsup
1 tablespoon hot sauce
1 teaspoon soy sauce
1/2 cup cooking oil
Salt and pepper
Heat the oil in a large cast iron pan and add fish pieces. Stir lightly until brown. Add onion, and stir until light brown. Add the other ingredients and stir lightly, then mix in 3 cups water. Cover and simmer for 30 to 45 minutes.
Serve over rice.
Double that hot sauce. I'll be right over....
