Spider-Mickey?

I'm sure you all heard the news today... Disney purchased Marvel Entertainment for $4,000,000,000.
Yahoo
Wall Street Journal
What does this mean for the publishing arm? Probably nothing. We were around when Time/Warner purchased DC Comics. We said "Finally, surely NOW we'll see nationally-televised ads for comic books!' But we were young and naive then, and giant corporations tend to let their different departments function without any overlap. I guess we'll see.
But just imagine the crossover possibilities... like...
HOWARD THE DUCK VS. DONALD DUCK!
(Thanks to all of you who sent this story in!)
Labels: Crossovers, internet aflame, luckily extinguished by all the tears

I am hoping it means Joe Quesada is soon out the door.

And not to point out the obvious, but "comics" aren't just Marvel and DC, Anonymous One. Sounds like you're tired of them.
Sorry, that is a typo...it should read Obnoxious One.
Yes Bill, you are correct sir. It is current Marvel and DC I have grown (*groan*) tired of...There is still plenty of GREAT comics out there...Walking Dead, Powers,INVINCIBLE....not to forget great Classic DC and Marvel collections...Now back to reading my Marvel Masterworks: Iron Man Volume 3..ahhhh good stuff....
I love Quesada and all the above mentioned books except all star batman...just a matter of taste.
Didio should be out the door.
