Baltimore Comic-Con 2009 - Day Two: The Quickening
Yikes! What a crazy day! Lots of shoppers, lots of artists and writers milling around, lots of costumed people, lots of fun:
Well, that's it for now... we're all pretty beat and are tired of hauling 1200 pounds of comic books around two states. Tomorrow begins a two-day series of seminars at the Diamond Retailer Summit, so there may be delayed posting... we will report back soon with what we learn about upcoming projects and whatnot!
(Oh and this Wednesday, come in and check out samples of ALL THE AWESOME GREEN LANTERN RINGS! They're not for sale yet, DC Comics just sent one of each of them for us to show all of you!)
Labels: collecting, comics, cool comic creators, event, fan boy, fun

Death to the creepy Batman puppet! Man, that thing couldn't disappear fast enough.
Just want to let you guys know that you are the coolest. I realize I only stopped by the stand briefly, and mooched a lil bit of storage space, but I can always count on a laugh and friendly faces. I saw another comment here about how you guys make you feel like you have friends on the "inside," and to that I say DITTO.
Comix Connection is crazy awesome!
It was great to hang with you guys a bit on Sunday. I had a great time. I still can't believe that little joke got bought by John Jackson Miller.
So come on! I'm dyin' here! WHAT HAPPENED TO THE PUPPET??!?
A settlement was negotiated and the Marionette Batman was saved. He now sports a new retail price of $200.
Awwww, I was hoping you actually drowned the creepy li'l thing. :)
That is always a possibility, depending on how much it irritates me to look at hit.
