AS THE POLLS CLOSE...A QUICK NOTE BEFORE YOU VOTE! THE RESULTS SO FAR: Superman beat out Sentry by a small margin 54%-46%
Batman (Grayson) Trounced Captain America (Bucky) 65%-35%
Wonder Woman edged out Invisible Woman 57%-43%
Namor the Sub-Mariner destroyed Aquaman with the biggest difference since the polls began 76%-23%!
I'll continue to update each month, the winners and we will see them all again in the finals!
Someone alert the local morgue because there may be a stack of bodies piling up as these two make their way to the arena! One things for sure, neither of them will die for good, but which one will submit by necessity when they don't have legs or arms left?
It's bound to be one of the bloodiest battles we will ponder!
The contender's abilities:
Lobo: Superhuman sense of smell, strength, stamina, and durability. Regenerative
healing factor. Immortality Genius level intellect.
Wolverine: Regenerative healing factor. Superhuman senses, strength, agility, stamina, reflexes and longevity. Adamantium-laced skeletal structure with retractable claws. Expert martial artist.

I guess it all boils down to what Lobo's chain is made out of.
For me, this one comes down to who's the better character. That's got to be Wolverine. Never much of a Lobo fan, and I find it hard to believe he's considered to have a genius level intellect?
Plus, I remember seeing somewhere, in some X-men comic that the only thing that managed to kill Wolverine was falling into the sun? Any help X fans?
I know he grew back from just bones!
I only went with Lobo because he has some pretty nasty powers, and i think he is much stronger then wolvie. I love wolverine MUCH more then Lobo, but I just think Lobo would win a fight. Sure, the fight would probably last decades because neither of them could fully be killed or whatever, but one hit would probably knock wolverine out, and then Lobo could do whatever... then come back when wolverine wakes up... rinse and repeat
Good points guys. It would be a true slobber knocker. As I mentioned above though, it would be until one of them couldn't fight on. Its actually the reason I chose wolverine and questioned what metal lobo's chain was made of. Wolverine may be able to cut though it if its around his neck but as far as I know Wolverine's fighting skills would probably allow him to get cuts in on lobo's arms and legs, however Wolverine does often just jump on people after he gets mad and Lobo would definitely tweak Lobo and maybe rip him in half Ultimate Hulk style!
I think this one would be a draw. After a couple days they'd both just get sick of it and end up in a bar somewhere.
I'm leaning LOBO, but he would be kinda like Mickey Mouse in "The Sorcerer's Apprentice": Obliterate Wolvie, Wolvie grows back. Obliterate Wolvie, Wolvie grows back. Lather, rinse, repeat.
And I think the only way it would end is EXACTLY how SavageMouse says it will.
Snake Eyes, Duke or Cobra Commander and Storm Shadow would own any of those punks.
Destro could take any of them with a titanium headbutt as well :))))

I agree with savage mouse too.
But i like to picture Lobo without arms or legs talking trash...its funny.
Oh and the arena they fight in does have concession that serves beer so it works out perfectly!
I'm voting for Lobo, even though it probably won't matter. One thing to remember about Lobo - HE KILLED THE REST OF HIS ENTIRE RACE. For fun. As a space-faring bounty hunter, Lobo's name is a feared one. In fact, in one alien language, Lobo means "he who devours your entrails and thoroughly enjoys it."
All it would take is for Wolvie to make one off-handed comment about or (heaven forbid) injure one of Lobo's Space Dolphin buddies and it's all over.
Other than that, I fully agree with Wolvie and the Main Man grabbing brewski together...
I vote for Lobo, I always had a soft spot for Claude Akins.
