I'm sure you all heard the news today... Disney purchased Marvel Entertainment for $4,000,000,000.

What does this mean for the publishing arm? Probably nothing. We were around when Time/Warner purchased DC Comics. We said "Finally, surely NOW we'll see nationally-televised ads for comic books!' But we were young and naive then, and giant corporations tend to let their different departments function without any overlap. I guess we'll see.
But just imagine the crossover possibilities... like...
