THE END IS NIGH!
So with each week we come nearer to the end. We have big names entering into the semi-finals, but only a few will leave. We have names like Spider-Man, Batman, Superman, Thor and more! And it's all because you voted it that way. So keep on voting as the temperature rises and a few heroes fall!
This is a huge bout as it will surely eliminate one of two absolute favorites.
SPIDER-MAN VS. BATMAN! There are walls to crawl and plenty of room for batarangs to fly.
Batman's Abilities: High human strength and peak conditions. Genius-Level Intellect. Skilled hand-to-hand combatant.
Spider-Man's Abilities: Superhuman strength, speed, stamina, agility, reflexes, and durability. Accelerated healing factor. Ability to cling to most surfaces. Able to shoot extremely strong and durable spider-web strings from wrists. Precognitive spider sense. Genius-Level Intellect.

I chose BATMAN because he has a utility belt that would have something in it to defeat Spider-man.

I chose Spider-Man because I think he'd anticipate Batman's moves. He'd web Batman's arms up at super speeds before he'd be able to reach into his utility belt. Spider-Man's a genius, he knows what's in a utility belt. He also knows without hands it's hard to get to what you need in the utility belt.
Also he was trained by Steve Rogers. The guy who punched Hitler in the face! Making him the coolest!
Batman's only power here is Super-Slow. He is only as fast as an olympian.
Batman, because he is the G-D Batman.
Batman, because Adam West could take the guy who played Peter Parker with one hand tied behind his bat-back.
Just because Spidey's a super smart scientist, doesn't add to his ability to foresee what might be in Batman's utility belt. He's no mind-reader. At best, he's got his Spider-Sense to rely on to give him a warning of danger. So my vote goes to Batman, just because I think he's a more determined fighter, more willing to fight dirty to take down an opponent, no matter what super powers he's up against. Batman doesn't back down from anyone, not ever. That, and I'm sure bats eat spiders in addition to insects...
I'll bet Batman has a can of Bat Spider Web Dissolver Spray!
And it's not really about fighting "dirty", as it is about fighting "smart".
Classic Spider-man/Peter Parker = Dork with powers, confused and awkward, wisecracky. Unsure of his immense powers, amateur.
Classic Batman/Bruce Wayne = Suave dude with no powers, calculating and sure, trenchant. Absolutely sure of his limitations, expert.
Game --> BATMAN!
