So... WHAT DID YOU THINK? Was the AMC TV series as cool as the comic? Better? What worked? What didn't? Did the actors capture the characters? What do you think? Tell us!

I watched the "other" Walking Dead. The Texas Rangers getting blanked in World Series Game #4.

I absolutely loved it. The more I think about it the more I like it.

Good acting. Shot well. And a potentially great zombie-epic!

Oh yeah, it was SPECTACULAR! Cast was spot on, acting great. I have to admit it's been a long while since I read that opening storyline, but the tank thing was something new wasn't it? Loved that touch, with Glenn radioing Rick ending the episode.

I thought it was a very good set-up episode. It got the characters and situation out there, and got things into motion. Acting, directing, and style surpassed what I was expecting.

Honestly, the thing that threw me out the most was that it was in color. Took about half the episode before I could accept that I was watching "Walking Dead" with that much saturation. Too weird!

(Good, though. And distinctly creepy, with that whole lack of music thing. Brr!)
