What I did on my summer vacation

I woke up.
Then I went downtown
to look for a job.
Then I hung out in front of the drugstore.

(Only old people will get that reference.)

Actually we watched the last space shuttle launch:

and got eaten alive by mosquitoes. Very cool. Well, not the mosquito part.

Very, very cool. So glad the kids got to see this. The only launch I ever saw was an Apollo launch way back in the stone age, and it was awesome.

We were back a couple miles... there was NO WAY we were going near the crowds at Canaveral! It was crazy!
