Comix Connection's Holiday Food Drive Update!

We just got some more numbers in for the Food Drive we've been hosting this holiday season, and things are really looking GREAT, everyone!

OK, previously we had a total of 822 pounds of food items donated by all you swell folks. Today I got some more info... on 12/14 a load of 446 POUNDS was picked up in Mechanicsburg and today an additional 680 POUNDS was gathered! That puts the total at ONE THOUSAND NINE HUNDRED AND FORTY-EIGHT POUNDS OF FOOD! Which means we officially need only FIFTY-THREE POUNDS of food donated to crack the 2000 pound barrier! Keep those donations coming folks, and by the way YOU ARE ALL AWESOME! Thanks so much... I really think this type of thing helps a LOT of Central Pennsylvanians and can make a difference in peoples' lives. You guys and gals are top-notch in my book! And hey, it's not too late to contribute! We're running this through January 1st, so BRING US SOME FOOD ITEMS to benefit the York Rescue Mission and the Central Pennsylvania Food Bank!

Bring us (at least two months in-date) food items like

Canned cranberry sauce
Canned fruits & vegetables
Boxed stuffing mix
Instant mashed potatoes
Canned yams or sweet potatoes
White rice
Condensed soup (15.5 oz)
Boxed cereal (15 oz)
Oatmeal, grits or Cream of Wheat
Pancake mix & syrup
Juice & powdered drinks
Coffee (beans or ground)
Salad dressings
Ketchup, mustard and mayonnaise
Peanut butter & jelly
Spaghetti sauce & pasta
Salt, pepper, sugar and sugar substitute packages
