Many thanks to the fine folks at DARK HORSE COMICS

Not to bore you all with the nuts and bolts of running a couple of comic shops, but as most of you know, I am the "ORDER GUY"... I do all the physical ordering of the comics and stuff that shows up on Comix Connection's shelves every Wednesday, and EVERY ONCE IN A GREAT WHILE I make an error. I know, crazy, right? Who would have thought that Bill isn't perfect?


Anyway, to cut to the chase - when I was ordering Dark Horse Comics' BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SEASON 9 #4, I only ordered one of the two alternate covers! I have no idea why I didn't order both as I have for many many many previous issues, but to compound the error I blew the orders for both stores! When the comic arrived, we realized that some folks wanted both covers and we had none of the GEORGES JEANTY artwork covers! Strangely, when we tried to reorder copies through our distributor we kept receiving copies of the STEVE MORRIS art covers, which we already had!


Rabid Buffy fans were nipping at our heels! What could we do? In desperation, I turned to the publisher Dark Horse Comics and emailed their retailer liaison, Patrick Richardson. Patrick immediately stepped into the breach and found some copies to send us to fill the lists of our disappointed box holders, thus solving the problem immediately and making many people very happy! And for that effort, I say, from all of us here at Comix Connection:

"THANK YOU VERY MUCH, PATRICK! THANK YOU DARK HORSE COMICS"

And to everyone else, I would like to add

"BUY MORE DARK HORSE COMIC BOOKS!"
