Cody-Kenobi Reveiw #24: The Seed Has Been Planted
Warning To You: Spoilers May Ensue
My Thoughts:
Ah the pieces have been set in the All New X-men #7, theirs a storm a brewin'. Cyclopes is visited by Mystique, and through a plethora of deceit, I believe that she has planted the seed that he has to literally face himself. He's picked up by Wolverine, and taken back to the school. That is pretty much the sum of this issue of the comic. Did it have its good parts? Yeah. Was their a ton of action? No. Was their some foreshadowing of whats to come--heck yes. I personally can not wait to see a showdown between Cyclopes and Cyclopes, at least I think it may happen. But I digress, this issue was pretty bland for the most part, though there were some funny parts to fill and break the bland. Overall, their really is not a whole lot so say in terms of the issue itself, other than what I have already noted. Was this a slow issue? Yeah it was, but should that stop you from picking it up, no it should not. The series has been pretty freaking good so far, and you can not expect a series to be all action, it needs to have some filler information every now and then. If theirs to much action, it becomes predictable, doesn't it?
I love the format of this comic, I love the art of the comic, I love the story and dialogue. Keep it up Marvel!
My Rating: 4 outa' 5
ALSO, am I the only one that found this comical? One of the most wanted people right now in the marvel universe, and he's walking through the crowd in his uniform, with his big ol' visor on. Silly Cyclopes, wut r u doin?

Ahh, New York...
Although I suppose in their defense, a "twelve-year-old" teenager in the original blue-and-gold looks more like some punk kid thinking he's tough by playing dress-up, then he does an actual mutant terrorist...because who would ever be dumb enough to really do that?!
Oh yeah...Scott. ;)
